Jun 1853 Perth; Aug 1855 - Dec 1855 Perth engaged by R Rowlands ‘Peninsula’; Jun 1 1857 engaged by John Stoke; Dec 14 1857 transferred to Champion Bay; ^1864 - 1868 employed 7 TL men on occasions; Jan 1867 lost a bay horse while at Bookara Springs, Irwin, reward offered (The Inquirer, 30 Jan 1867) 1868 teamster in Perth; ^1869 Greenough, farmer; 1871 labourer, lost his house in fire; ^ Geraldton widow conducted a boarding house in & was caretaker of George Shenton’s residence in Marine Terrace; May 1867 employed TL man Tindal Waterford [Exp 6478] £1/10/- month; 1870’s family remained in Greenough area, teamster; May 1877 referred to as ‘old time resident of Dongara and Greenough’; Jan 1877 Fripp family lost their house & all possessions to a fire (The Victoria Express, 29 Jan 1887); 1884 Dongara, first caretaker of Methodist Church; Irwin, a farmer (as a sign of respect following Mark’s death, St John’s Church, Dongara covered the communion table with a black cloth, even though he was a Wesleyan); Mr Fripp knocked down by a horse & suffered total lack of movement (The Victoria Express, 30 Apr 1887); Aug 1887 letter of thanks for all assistance given, written by Elizabeth Fripp (The Victoria Express, 06 Aug 1887)
